Our heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Martin Berger and Charlotte. Martin is the musical director of the Würzburg Cathedral in Germany and Charlotte is a professional oboe player. We came to know Martin in 2005, when he toured South Africa with the cathedral's boys' choir and have had meaningful musical contact with him and/or his choirs on an annual basis since then. Music connects and it stands to reason that, over the years, this connection has turned into a deep friendship.

We feel especially privileged that they chose to have this very special day, not in their own country, but rather in South Africa, with only their closest family as witnesses.

We really do look forward to visiting them in their home town in September.
